Process
Initial Consultation
We take time to understand your style journey to date, current style challenges, self-image, key areas of focus and style-related goals - with the objective of defining your signature style and setting the foundation for a functional closet that aligns with how you want to be seen.
What’s included
Session 1: Style Personality
We explore your Style Personality which will help to bring much greater clarity to who you want to be and what it is you want to convey through your style choices. The output of this session will provide you with a framework for visualizing and implementing your ideal style - think of it as definition and a set of guiding principles that covers off your style type, style persona, style icons, key brands/retailers that support your desired style, closet composition and ideal outfit formulas. A personalized Pinterest board will help you to visualize how all of this comes together.
Session 2: Body Shape Harmony
We look at enhancing your inner beauty as well as addressing your physical presence. We start by understanding how you feel about your body and identifying, if necessary, how you can build greater levels of self-acceptance and body confidence. We also identify your body shape, proportions and individual body variations (those pesky hang-ups we all have!) and explore how to dress to enhance your favourite features and downplay your least favourite parts. I share as many styling tips and tricks as are relevant and you get an education like never before!
Session 3: Color Analysis
This session focuses on identifying the colours that best suit your natural features. The goal is to help you build greater confidence in shopping for and wearing colour. Colour is an unbelievably powerful tool that, when used correctly, can positively impact how you look and feel about yourself, as well as how you are perceived by others.
Session 4: Closet Decluttering
During this session we look at your closet through the filter of your newly-acquired style knowledge. We quite literally go through every item in your closet and critique it based on how it aligns with your style personality, body shape, colours and lifestyle - purging any pieces that are not in alignment with your desired style. The output of this session is a closet that only contains clothing that is relevant to you moving forward, together with a list of any gaps identified, that will enable you to complete outfits/build entirely new looks.
